Del, What an eventful couple weeks we have had, I love the high country! The sheep are in the mountains, and we will return to the low country for the Bayfield sheep trailing days on September 24th. I am taking turns moving camps with our sons, Luke and Levi. We are very grateful for a good lamb crop this year! I spent Independence Day in Durango, Bayfield, Pagosa Springs, and Vallacito. We had a a great group of Republicans join me in the parades. Back in the legislative world, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has been feverishly working to assemble the information required by my South Platte Water Storage Bill, HB 1256. It is imperative that we capture and store water that is wasting out of Colorado on the South Platte as our reservoirs are at a record low. As your representative, I have fought to bring real results to the Western Slope while my Democrat opponent has spent her time fundraising. We are now neck in neck in fundraising and I ask you for your help. I can't do this alone. Your support will help us contact voters and inform them of the positive change that I have fought for and won for the Western Slope. It is an honor to serve the people of Southwest Colorado! Sincerely, J. Paul Brown HD 59 |
