Del, This Colorado land is our God-given gift, and I will never stop fighting for it. I am very grateful to the Colorado Farm Bureau, who presented to me the prestigious Pinnacle Award for my attention and efforts toward protecting our land and those who steward it. It is public confirmation that I have consistently supported issues that are fundamental to the health of Colorado agriculture and actively sought out ways to protect our right to natural resources. Earlier this week, I stood with Senator Cory Gardner in front of the the Animas River and discussed the protection of our people and our agriculture. It has been nearly a year since the Gold King Mine spill, and we are still waiting for EPA reimbursements to come through for local business people. Not to mention, the BLM will be redistricting their offices in October—a change that could increase the burden on the citizens of San Juan county while decreasing service, which is an excessive obstacle here on the Western Slope. We need uncompromising defense for our businesses and those who run them, and we need to continue pushing for protection and justice. I am on the front lines here, but I can't do this alone. Would you consider contributing $5 or $10 to support protection of our Colorado farms? Thank you for all your support! Sincerely, J. Paul Brown HD 59 | |
